Re: Miniature List
How about this mini for Big U? I dunno if that is sufficient information, but I'm sure if you pop over to Sean's board and ask him, he'd tell you. Just don't mention the reason in case he hasn't been in RttToEE yet.

Re: Miniature List
That's Ral Partha's "Blue Dragon". You can see it here: Blue Dragon
Of the Ral Partha Dragons, I prefer this one for Utreshimon:
Black Dragon

Re: Miniature List
Is Ral Partha still producing minis? I thought they had gone out of business . . .

Re: Miniature List
Some of their former staff members have picked up US production rights and are operating as Ironwind Metals.

Re: Miniature List
Big U is a blue dragon, not a black dragon, but I agree, I like the black dragon mini better, too. However, neither was listed on your site under Big U, so I just thought I'd mention it.

Quote: A DM on a budget might try www.dragonscalecounters.com
Can I just echo that suggestion. I ordered some of these on New Year's Eve, got prompt email confirmation of order and despatch (which took place the same day) and they turned up in the post today (6th January). I make that 3 working days. What makes that impressive is that I live in the UK. The counters are so light that they go airmail with no problem and postage was two bucks.
In all, I got a bunch of good-looking mook counters, plus a few one-offs (ochre jelly) at a very nice price. They're quite thin plastic, but they do the job nicely. Recommended, and especially for DMs without easy access to a wide range of miniatures (or without time to paint them, or money to buy them).
The only caveat I'd add is that although nearly all of the counters I saw advertised on their website are specifically noted to be the right base size for the D&D rules, one of the ones I ordered (ettin) isn't (they've got it on a 5x10 base). All the others I got are right, though, and I can certainly work round the one problem.

Well, the Ral Partha dragons are based more on 1ed art than on 3ed art. In this case, the two dragons in question don't really match the archetypical blue or black dragons from either edition. So, despite the name, the RP black dragon is a better choice for big U.

Noted. I'll add them in soon.

Re: Miniature List
Chartram - I see your excellent list has no suggestion as yet for the F.D.Lions.
I used Confrontation Miniatures' 'Tigres de Dirz' or Tiger of Dirz. www.newwavegames.com/mini...sccr03.jpg
They're pricey though (or were) so I only shelled out for one.
I'd love to show my painted mini, but my scanner's busted and I'm digicam-less. The official pic is pretty good though - and they're just the right size (BIG).
Also - Armoured, Greatsword Ogres in the Outer Fane (and Recovered Temple) - how about Reaper Miniatures RR2537 Orankar, Ogre Boss. www.newwavegames.com/mini...s/2537.jpg
You can't see it in the pic, but I particularly liked that he has his lunch with him - a whole pig trussed up over his back.

Just another Dragonscale note about how affordable they are. I have a few basics, and most of the mook types, so undead, warriors, gnolls, and the like aren't a problem. I just went through and ordered every creature I could for the entire CRM. It came to $28. The only ones I missed were I believe Darkmantles and a Hydra. Everything else I have a counter for.

Re: RE: Miniature List
For the SERs I found this online - I haven't seen the actual minis, just the pics.
The riders are goblins so might be a little small, but the mounts look great.
